At CU Library

Oxford Art Online (found in the Reference & E-books section of the Art History Subject Guide) has been updated to include:

50 beautiful new images from across the globe depicting the materials and techniques that artists and craftspeople use to create objects.

Collaboration with New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology to include Fashion; see biographies of designers & 75 stunning accompanying images

The English Short Title Catalogue (ESTC), can now be accessed from the British Library online, via the library or the web.

The link can be found in the Databases by Title: E, or by searching ESTC in the library catalgoue.

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is pleased to announce the launch of five major databases which catalogue thousands of publications on the history of print culture in Canada from its beginnings in the sixteenth century to the twenty-first century.

CUAG to receive major collection

A retired Carleton English professor and Dean of Arts A. Trevor Tolley has bequeathed his estate, which includes a substantial collection of contemporary Canadian art to Carleton and the art gallery (CUAG) will benefit substantially from the donation.
